Designed to be an intimate theater, the Sondheim Theater seats up to 522 on two levels, complete with a center orchestra, rear orchestra, side orchestra, balcony and mezzanine sections. There are 342 seats in the center orchestra, rear orchestra and side orchestras. There are 180 seats in the balcony and the furthest seat is only 75 feet from the stage.
State-of-the-art rigging, lighting, audio systems and orchestra pit convert the hall easily from concerts to theatricals. Backstage includes two "star" dressing rooms, a full make-up room, two chorus dressing rooms, loading dock and scene shop.
